Christian ... our little Koala!

Christian is at his most adorable stage now ... soon to be 16 months old!
He haven't managed the trick of talking back, except with his own missed-pronouncing talking manner .. very babyish, very funny.
He loves to feed himself during meals ... of course it is messy at times, but what the hack, he needs to master his motor skills.
He loves 'trucks', balloon, balls (his 1st love and still am), music, guitar, drum, and ... of course FOOD :)
He is not keen in books at current .. unlike Kiersten. A boy thing ...
He loves taking a walk ... anywhere ... guess it is the independency that he is enjoying.
He loves going to the play gym with kiersten and have a ball of their time climbing like monkeys.
.... and ...
I love to carry him and hug him like hugging a little Koala ... that's why i always say he is mummie's little Koala.
He loves making funny faces. Enjoys it most when you told him NOT to. Yes, his 1st attemp of defying our remarks and testing our patience.
.... what he dislike ...
He doesn't like to brush his teeth.
He doesn't wanna be bath, but once in the bathroom under the shower, he doesn't wanna come out.
When he is dissapointed with anything, he will wiggle on the floor. Guess he will be the 'floor-rolling' type ...
... Kiersten & Christian ...
... che che and Christian's relationship ... they are GROWING in love (with bit of salt, fight, argument in their own manner)
Che Che love to play with him and at the same time trying to bully him or rather him bullying her too at times :) Can't wait to see them in a fight ... hehehe wanna see who is the one that will be getting the bruise on the eye :P

Da da & i LOVE them immensely ... they are such a blessed gift ... AMEN!

Chinese Dumpling 'Chung' by Yen Yen

Yen Yen is my paternal grandma. Why such manner of addressing instead of a common Ma Ma? Well that's because we are the 'Sun Ling' dialect speaking people within the Cantonese Clan. Further information into the heritage ... well i guess i'll need the World Wide Web ... best libray ... Wikipedia! Guess it is the NOW generation problem ... we are losing touch, sense, love and care to our heritage! Coz we are too busy, too caught up in our own world! What's everybody's heritage now? LOMO, iPad, anything APPLE, Wii Console, ... and the list of canggih heritage goes-on.
I love my Yen YEn's 'Chung' very much. Yen Yen and my late Yeh Yeh (you guess it right, my paternal grandpa) will be spending nights of sleepless night to boil & cook the 'Chung' in a big pot under the charcoal stove before the dumpling festival. Lots of work and patience ... guess that piece of positive enthusiasim is the essence of ALL CHINESE whoever, & wherever we are (since most of us are migrants, unless if you leave in China and you are a Chinese, you are considered leaving in your kampung lor. Nope, not right? At least i think that way).
I was pondering on the thought of learning the craft of making 'chung' (craft of wrapping, cooking the ingredient, cooking the FINAL wrapped 'chung'), would love to preserve the heritage and continue the culture in the family. Hopefully i'll be able to bring on this culture & heritage to Kiersten OR Christian one day ... if they don't mind learning!

P/S: Hahaha ... Moon cake festival is near and here i am talking about 'chung' only now :) Blame it on my 'BUSY with the NET Heritage' :P
