Kiersten 1st time savoring CHOCOLATE at GODIVA

Yup at 26 mths old ... this is her FIRST time eating a chocolate. My-oh-my ... mummie forbade that! Yup, i'm no enthusiast when it comes to anything that spells JUNK! But as usual, Dada is always the saviour or rather the more adventures one :P
And can you believe it, doctors, paediatrician, are actually offering SWEETS to young patient like Kiersten each time they visit them! How RIDICULOUS! I have to WARN them off each time they do so! Once, a doctor gave Kiersten a Chupa Chup ... and for whatever the reason, she was very persistent (i almost fainted coz it was kinda the 1st few times and it just never caught me that a Doctor will actually do just that!) i obligely let Kiersten have it, but telling her that the Chupa Chups which is called SWEETs are actually NOT FOOD, it is a TYPE of FLOWER with NO PETALS! So she just hang on to it till we reached home ... and i just grab a chance to take it and throw it away when she left it on the floor.
HA Ha HA ....

Kiersten 1st Day at School ... Villamaria 20090210

Yup... she is ONLY 2 and we already sent her to school! But hell ya, she is NOT there for studies, she is there to PLAY, Play & MORE PLay. It is a Playgroup! Chris & i are definitely NOT the 'Kiasu' type when it comes to studies ... we are NOT the studious type nyways. In fact the 'ponteng' type, only do ART cause thinking it is easy-peasy (it is NOT too).
But as we were doing some Kindie shopping previously, we came across kindies (MOST kindies in fact) that offer BM, Eng, Chinese, Reading, Writing, Computer, Art, Math ... MATH!, etc, etc, etc to 'MAKE YOUR KID TO BE SUPER GENIOUS WITH SUPER POWERED DHA! Yeah, it is this taxing for kids at school! KIASU or made your $$$ worth?
Well, Chris & i believe, Kiersten or kids in general actually will DEFINITELY learn ABC, 123, reading, writing, computer, other languages one day ... when the time is right for their age at least. What's wrong with only being able to do ALL these at the age of 6 or even 7? Aren't ALL of us brought up that way? I only remember us being at school when we were either 6 or 7. So ... are we any dummer or not contributing to the society? NOT RIGHT?

*** Well .. ha. ha .. Kiersten knows her ABC & 123 already nyways. Well we did NOT push these. TRUST US! She picks it up along the way ... and she loves reading & learning in fact ... on her own pace & liking i guess that's why.

Didn't i just made 'Parenthood' sounded SUPER EASY!

Peeping ... thats ALL we can do right besides being helpless when she look so clueless and not really aware that we are NOT around her :(

As usual, she was pretty cool .. already enjoying herself during her PE

Kiersten's Toothbrushes

It was like yesterday ... when she first encounter her 1st experience with 'teething' ... 'ouch' ouch'. Luckily, she did NOT faced with any of those mythical perut sakit, 'lau sai' experience nor neither gums & gigi sakit. LUCKY her! after these three pieces of toothbrush for keepsake, i kinda lost count on the rest after since we change it almost every other month when she started 'chewing' on it ... yeah 'chewing' instead of brushing ....

WOW ... the journey to get her started ... sheer determination task!

Got up EVERY morning (when she was around 1 with less than 10 pcs of gigi)
REMIND her to brush her teeth,
Carry her to the bathroom basin,
Got her a cup of warm water & toothpaste ready on her favourite toothbrush (either POOH, or POOH & Friends ... well, those are the only ones you can get for her age in pharmacy n EVERYWHERE ... how frustrating ... the other nice & cooler one are always for the older kids age Four & above)
Me: Ok, Kiersten GARGLE your mouth GRRRRRR.... , SPIT out, don't forget or else the germ swill go into your stomach (yeah ALL the common white lies mum will use :P)
Kiesrten: Did as told
Me: Ok, ready, we will brush the back & side teeth first.
Down left .. in, out, in, out,.... Down right .. in out, in, out... Up left .. in, out, in, out,.... Up Right .. in, out, in, out,....
Front, EEeee, side-to-side, side-to-side
(With ALL that coaxing, i will also have to entertain with the 'tune' of 'This is the way we brushhhh our teeth..., brushhhh our teeth..., brushhhh our teeth..., this is the way we brushhhh our teeth..., earlyyyy in the morrrrning'!)
Me: Yeah! we are done, let mummy see are there anymore yellow, yellow teeth
Kiersten: EEeee... (for mummy to check)

Whoosh ... another task done for the day!
