Kiersten's ONE year old BOOSTER.... OUCH!

A year just fly pass so fast ....
Kiersten is already due for her One year Booster.
As usual we were late to bring her for one...
It was just like yesterday when we were so anxious to send her to her ONE MONTH old jab.
We brought her to Dr. Sanjay today. As usual, she is calm and all. Even when the needle is IN. She did NOT even wimp a bit. The nurses outside was soooo excited bout not hearing any shout, cries, etc. When we were out from the doc's room, the nurses needed to CONFIRMED. They were so amazed. It was like Kiersten own some sort of an amazing ability. They kept repeating how brilliant she was.
Of course Chris and I was super duper proud of her. We were awed by her as well.
She is definitely a tough cookie.

Dr, sanjay also needed to check on her vocabs ability ... and i just realised, Kiersten can talk quite a fair bit ....

dada or dadada
mama
ball
go-go (for mango)
boh-boh (our beloved pet)
ah-puh (apple)
bahh-buhh (bubble)

As for imitation of sound :
tiap-tiap (birds)
ourrgh (rooster)
arr urrgh (Puppy or kitty cat)

She can imitate Actions for all sort of things like birds flying, caterpillar, butterfly, fish swimming, driving, motorbike, spectacle, and the list goes on....

CNY in Teluk Intan Feb' 2008

It was such a beautiful CNY back in kong-kong, po-po's & graetgrandparent's home in Teluk Intan. It was Kiersten's first time celebrating CNY with them all. My entire battalion family ... paternal & maternal(actually make a trip there to):)
It brings back sooo much memories ....
I grew up in TI but never once went up to the clock tower. But there's a good reason for that. It was so run down at that time. Squatters & pre-war shop were surrounding it. Though i used to go to the pre-war shop to buy steam kaya+butter bread for breakie, i don't usually notice IT! Unlike now, they took the initiative to beautify it. Glad they did... sice it is the 'leaning Pisa'of M'sia
