Time Flies ....

It has been awhile since the last time i updated the blog.
It was whirlwind + Bitter +Sweet + Laughter + Tears = Time FliesKiersten is now 19 months old ... 2 months plus to go will be her second birthday! It was so unbelievable seeing her grow everyday. Definitely God's blessing!

It is even crazieerr of me and Chris when we tell people how Kiersten can communicate with us in sentence. Even Dr. Sanjay (paediatrician) was in awe when learnt of her ablility. She started talking word for word during her 13 months, then communicating when she was 14 months plus and ever since, she has been TALKING, TALKING, and more TALKING! Anyone that interacts with her will comment that 'such a talkative girl'. Can you imagine even our neighbours, for instance ... the nearest next to us, Aunty Fatimah was even telling us how talkative and noisy Kiersten am when we bumped into them the other day at a mamak near home. Kiersten will be calling out to Eddie (Aunty Fatimah's Grand son, same age with Kiersten) whenever she hear his voice coming form the backyard. I guess she is really desparate to look for companion.

Things Kiersten can do & will say (with her own tone & manner) :
Kiersten can count 1 to 10 without missing any number or jumble it up!
Ask her if she can sing, 'Yes .. BA BA Black cheep, Pop the whistle (Pop goes the whistle)'
She can recognise all the scene from her Music VCD my MIL bougt her and she will religiously play it everyday, over & over again!
Ask her where does Po Po & Kong Kong live, she will tell you 'Teluk Intan' (super clear)
Where does Kiersten live, 'Subang Jaya, USJ tee (3)' (Not bad for a 19 moths old girl)

Every morning she will say:
Mummie, dada can-not go work with unker San Yen.
Mummie, dada come back home.Mama can-not talk, ah-ten talk (She will tell everyone not to talk, and only she can talk!)

Every nite before going to bed, she will chant:
She will first sheepishly ask ... 'milk' then she will smile cheekily form her bed. I'll tell her 'No, you just had dinner awhile ago. Mummie will make you milk later at night' (Since she had dinner at 7pm, sleep around 8ish or 9ish, i don't think she should have milk and wanna give her at 12 midnite then she will sleep through the nite to morning). She will ask again after praying .. 'milk'. If we tell her 'No' again, she will usually pack her pillows, stand up at her bed edge and look at the cupboard where the milk stuff are, then she will start jumping and chant 'make milk, make milk, make milk' till you give in! She started having this habit about 4 weeks ago, having milk before her nite sleep. But we figure it is kinda good since she will have her milk earlier and she will sleep through the nite.
